Join the MS Bike Rides Cape Cod Getaway - largest MS Ride in New England

At Lawless Chrysler Jeep Dodge’s one of our very own sales manager's, Kevin McKenna’s is taking part in "Bike MS", the country’s largest organized cycling event to support people living with Multiple Sclerosis. Kevin's friend, John Pipitone has been diagnosed with MS. Kevin's riding team called "Pep's Peddlers" is comprised of 39 friends that are raising money to combat this disease.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. The nerves of the central nervous system are affected and a person experiences progressive interference in vision, speech, walking, writing, and memory. Hundreds of thousands of people are suffering from multiple sclerosis in this country.

The Cape Cod Getaway is the largest MS ride in New England. The Ride takes part over two days, starting Saturday morning, June 26, 2010 where over 2000 riders will pedal from Quincy, Massachusetts through the coastal towns of Massachusetts' South Shore to the border of Cape Cod. There the riders will be warmly welcomed with live music and great food at Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Bourne at the end of day one. Day two starts early Sunday morning, June 27, 2010, when the riders will then cross the Bourne bridge and ride through picturesque Cape Cod as they make their way to Provincetown. After crossing the finish line, the riders can enjoy socializing and food before taking the party boat back to Quincy. Come, join the MS ride as a cyclist or a volunteer or donate for this noble cause! Let’s make a difference in creating a world free of Multiple Sclerosis.
